Amazon Driver Charged In Alleged Assault Of Woodbridge Resident
An Amazon driver is accused of striking a person then fleeing in a November incident, according to a report.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — An Amazon driver is facing breach of peace and assault charges tied to an incident with a homeowner, according to WTNH News-8. Police responded to a call Nov. 26 just before 6 p.m. on Rock Hill Road.
The victim claimed that he was entering his driveway when an Amazon truck backed up toward his vehicle. The victim ended up striking a metal pole on his property, then the victim and the Amazon driver got into an argument, WTNH News-8 reported. The driver is accused of pushing the resident during the argument.
The victim told police that the Amazon driver then got in his truck and struck him with the driver's side mirror while backing out of the driveway.
