Barrio Burrito Bar Opens First Connecticut Location in Orange

Tex-Mex restaurant also offers unique menu options

Barrio Burrito Bar, one of North America's fastest-growing fast-casual Mexican restaurant brands, held the grand opening yesterday of its first Connecticut location at 263 Boston Post Road - Suite 2, Orange. The Orange restaurant is owned and operated by Jack Laroche and Marie Amestale (holding scissors).

A ribbon-cutting organized by the Amity Chamber of Commerce celebrated the official opening, which was preceded by a "friends and neighbors" community reception that offered up free Tex-Mex samples the prior week.

Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber, and Annemarie Sliby, Executive Director of the Orange Economic Development Corporation, joined Laroche and Amestale and their Barrio Burrito Orange team in launching the newest addition to the Boston Post Road corridor.

Cohen said, "In addition to serving up some seriously super Tex-Mex, Barrio Burrito's outreach to the local community has been nothing less than magnificent. The Chamber looks forward to partnering with Marie and Jack and wishes them much success!"

Barrio Burrito Bar prides itself on serving fresh Tex-Mex cuisine using high-quality ingredients; daily-prepared meats; homemade salsas; and unique menu offerings such as Bang-Bang Shrimp, Crunchy Chicken, and “Extreme Fries,” providing meal options that appeal to a wide consumer base.
