Bethany Fire Department Responded To 28 Car Crashes This Year

This includes five roll-over accidents and two crashes requiring people to be extricated from cars, according to the department.

BETHANY, CT — The Bethany Volunteer Fire Department has responded to 28 motor vehicle accidents so far this year. This includes five roll-over accidents and two crashes requiring people to be extricated from cars, according to a Facebook post from the department.

Ten of the accidents occurred in the last two weeks.

"As we begin to enter the warmer months, and roadways become busier, we would like to remind everyone to please exercise caution and safety when driving," the fire department wrote on Facebook.
