Car Crashes Into Tree, Driver Seriously Injured In Woodbridge
The crash occurred early Monday morning when a car left the road and struck a tree.
WOODBRIDGE, CT — Police are investigating following a crash that resulted in serious injuries early Monday morning. Crews were called at about 3 a.m. to respond to an accident in the area of Route 243 near its intersection with Route 114.
Police, fire, and emergency services personnel arrived to find that a vehicle had left the road and struck a tree.
Firefighters extracted the driver who was then transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Route 243 was temporarily closed to traffic but has since reopened.
