Amity Schools Finance Director Receives State Honors

Two Connecticut state honors will be presented to Amity Regional School District director.

Jack B. Levine, director of finance and administration at Amity Regional School District No. 5, has recently received two state honors.

The Connecticut Association of School Business Officials (CASBO) presented its 2015 Innovative Practices Award to Levine at its annual conference in Lakeville on May 28.

Levine will also receive the 2015 Connecticut Quality Improvement Award on June 11 at an awards luncheon in Hartford. The CQIA non-profit group said they present this award to “organizations utilizing the highest ethical standards in combination with advanced business processes and innovative approaches to improve the economic vitality of Connecticut and all of its people.”

Levine currently serves as Chair of the Beacon Falls Board of Finance. He has also served on the Region #16 Board of Education and as Beacon Falls Selectman and Town Treasurer.
