Furniture Store Celebrates Tenth Anniversary with New Location

Over $500,000 investment made in building and grounds

Last Friday, US Furniture, located at 515 Boston Post Road, Orange, invited the public to celebrate the store's new location and tenth anniversary in Orange. The day featured a ribbon-cutting, children's activities, a pizza truck, refreshments, raffles, giveaways, and special sales that delighted both longtime and first-time customers.

US Furniture owner, Barack Hussein, and his family were joined by Barry Lee Cohen, CEO of the Amity Chamber of Commerce, along with State Representative Kathy Kennedy (R-119), customers, staff, and friends. Kennedy presented a citation on behalf of the Connecticut State General Assembly, congratulating the family and wishing them much success.

The new US Furniture location boasts 30,000 sq ft compared to the store's prior 5,000 sq ft location and represents over $500,000 in extensive renovations to both the building and grounds. The store includes a distinctive showroom experience with enhanced inventory and customer service.
