On September 10 the Garden Club of Woodbridge had the first meeting of the season, "A Gathering and Plant Swap," at a member's delightful home. The club's new president, Debbie Schlegel, opened the meeting by inviting all on hand to partake in the scrumptious lunch. Member, Katie Lewis, arborist at Davey Tree, led a Q & A session based on attendees' gardening problems. Member Maria Kayne displayed immense, multi-hued dahlias from her garden. Folks, who brought plants to exchange, left with new specimens to enrich their properties.
