The headliners were Carole’s Kings, an all male Carole King Review featuring the music of “Beautiful.” The featured performers in the musical review were DJ Bucciarelli, Michael Linden and Evan Jay Newman, three actors singing the music of King and her friends, including Carly Simon and James Taylor. All three men are very talented performers and shared some great information about Carole King in between their songs. Although the sound was painfully loud for much of the performance, the lighting was great, as were the three pickup musicians.

The foundation sponsors scholarship, community projects and educational programming throughout the greater New Haven and Bridgeport and Valley regions. This gala celebrated their home community and their special relationship with their Amity family. Ticket purchases allow them to continue to provide enrichment classes for young artists in all genres - music, dance, visual arts and theater.
