Man Falls From Overpass, Fatally Struck By Car On Route 15: PD
The man was struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 15 in Woodbridge after he fell from an overpass onto the highway, according to police.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A New Haven man died after being struck by a vehicle on Route 15 South in Woodbridge on Tuesday night, according to Connecticut State Police.
Police responded to Route 15 South near Exit 58 in Woodbridge around 7:30 p.m. on the report of a body in the road, according to officials.
A man, Carmelo Agosto, 42, of New Haven, was found in the right lane with injuries consistent with being hit by a car, police said.

Investigators said Agosto was involved in a previous collision on the Route 114 overpass and "for unknown reasons the victim fell from the overpass into the right travel lane" when he was struck by a car driven by an Orange resident. Agosto was taken to a hospital, and he died as a result of his injuries, according to police.
State Police are investigating. Anyone with information is urged to call them at 203-393-4200 and ask for Trooper McCue.
