Reward Offered In Case Of Dead Dogs Left In Woodbridge: Police

Authorities are seeking information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for leaving two dead dogs on a street in Woodbridge.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — A $5,000 reward is being offered by Desmond's Army, after two dead female, Micro Bully type dogs were found last week on a street corner in Woodbridge, according to police.

The two dead dogs were found at 11:45 a.m. on Friday on the corner of Johnson and Brookwood roads, and the citizen who found them contacted Woodbridge police and animal control.

"Both departments responded to the scene and are actively investigating this incident," Woodbridge Regional Animal Control posted on Facebook. "The dogs were transported by Woodbridge Regional Animal Control to UConn for necropsy work."

One of the dogs was an adult that was white and tan in color, while the other dog was younger and was white with brownish brindle patches around each eye.

The younger dog was found in a garbage bag.

Desmond's Army is an animal law advocacy group, and the reward is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of whoever is responsible for leaving the two dogs on the street corner.

"We are looking for the public's help with any information for this active investigation," Woodbridge animal control wrote. "Anyone with information can call Woodbridge Regional Animal Control at (203)389-5991 and talk to our Officers."
