The animal control is asking for help with finding who abandoned two dogs, who are described as "absolute sweethearts," in Bethany.
BETHANY, CT — The Woodbridge Regional Animal Control is asking for help with information regarding two dogs that were abandoned in Bethany last month.
“We are still looking for any information who is responsible for the dumping/ abandoned of these two Bullys on Brooks Road,” officials wrote in a post on Facebook. “We got both of them on 4/16/25 on Brooks Road off of Downs Road in Bethany. The male is the red bully that still had a stitch in his left ear which has been removed. The female is the blue bully. Both were infested with ticks but are absolute sweethearts that we are currently working with. They will be available at a later date.”
Anyone with information is asked to call 203-389-5991 or the Woodbridge Police Department.
