Woodbridge Officials Seek Owner Of Dog After Suspected Abandonment

The dog is being treated for an eye injury, officials said.

WOODBRIDGE, CT — Woodbridge Regional Animal Control is asking the public for information about a dog which may have been abandoned this week.

The dog, a Shar-Pei, was found in Woodbridge in the Clark Road area.

Officials said the dog has a ruptured eye and is being treated.

“We will work on making her as comfortable as possible,” officials said, in a Facebook post.

An investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about the dog or her owner is asked to call 203-389-5991.
