2 Hospitalized, Road Closed After Head-On Crash In Branford: Police
Two drivers were hospitalized after a head-on crash, according to police.
BRANFORD, CT — Two drivers were hospitalized after a head-on crash Wednesday night in Branford, according to police.
Police said the crash happened around 6:45 p.m. in front of the Hornet’s Nest on East Main Street.
Both drivers were taken to local hospitals to be treated for injuries, according to police.

Police said Route 1 will be closed while officers investigate the crash.
Route 1 is closed in both directions between Mill Plain Road and Windmill Hill Road, according to state transportation officials.
