Robbers Try Robbing Branford Bank - After It’s Closed
Branford Police chief says the robbers could be contestants to be on the television show - "Dumbest Criminals."

BRANFORD, CT — Memo to future bank robbers: If you are going to try and rob a bank you should probably do it when the bank is open.
Police Chief Kevin Halloran was telling the Board of Police Commissioners at their most recent meeting that two New Jersey men attempted to rob the Key Bank in Branford on January 27th.
The chief said there was one problem, however. “They should have checked to see when the bank was open. They came after the bank was closed for the day.”
