Branford Bridge Repairs Delayed

BRANFORD--Repairs to the Sybil Creek Bridge are being delayed.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation won't be making repairs until at least 2017, according to Shore Publishing.

Initially, the $2.8 million project was to have started in fall 2016 and finished in spring 2017, according to Shore Publishing.

DOT plans include widening the bridge, doubling its size and adding sidewalks. The Sybil Creek Bridge is located on Route 146.
