The Pedestrian Connectivity Improvements project would upgrade and extend sidewalks along Jefferson Road and parts of Florence Road: Town

BRANFORD, CT — The Town of Branford’s Pedestrian Connectivity Improvements project, to improve and extend the sidewalks along Jefferson Road and parts of Florence Road, began Monday.
Murillo Construction LLC is the low-bid contractor, with funding for the project coming from the state’s Connecticut Connectivity Grant Program.
The new concrete sidewalks and pedestrian crossings are designed to create accessible routes and to connect the community to West Main Street transit options and a variety of community amenities, according to the town.
