Branford Mom Brightens Any Room With Her Smile, Strong Will

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

Our mom is one-of-a-kind, funny, and loving, and will brighten any room she walks into. Her character and strong will have held our family together throughout our entire lives. She is not only our mother, but a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and amazing support to each of her children every day. She has shown us what it means to work hard and get through the toughest of times with a smile. She has a relationship unique to each of her kids, making us feel special in our own ways. However, she has forever bonded us with memories, laughs, road trips, holidays, and a place we can always call home. Mom, we love you, and happy Mother’s Day!

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

Our mom deserves the spotlight because she has spent the past 30 years loving, caring for, and supporting her three children - and now the newest member of the family, her first grandchild, Maximus, by my brother Chris and my sister-in-law Cassidy. This August, she will be entering a new decade and turning 60 (and fabulous!) She has put us before herself in everything she does, so I hope she knows that she deserves the world and more in this new chapter.
