Branford Mom 'Deserves To Know Just How Special She Is,' Daughter Says

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mother is amazing! She raised three children completely on her own, she has 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She ALWAYS puts everyone first. She goes above and beyond for all of us and is constantly thinking of us. She will drop everything if any of us need her at any time. She babysits her great-granddaughter so her granddaughter can work and not worry about daycare. Her kindness extends past family. If anyone — family, friends or neighbors — needs her, she is there

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She deserves to know just how special she is and how loved she is.
