Branford Mom 'Is A Great Friend And Inspiration'

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

She is always checking on her friends and daughter and grandchildren to make sure they are OK. She is always watching and playing with her grandkids. Her daughter is her best friend. Her husband Bill is always fixing something and listening to her. She is like the Mayor of this community in Stony Creek. She is a great friend and inspiration. Her laugh is infectious. She cares about people and her love for helping people is unbelievable. I wanted you to know this because she saved my life and many others.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

Because she is low-key and deserves it.
