BRANFORD, CT —When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented times. Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these everyday heroes.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
Allison has 4 children, of which 3 are school aged. Not only has she been home schooling since the pandemic has started, but from day one she has been making masks. It started with one for her daughters cheer coach. Then the labor and delivery nurses, and from there she has been sewing everyday over 400 hundred masks to date.
What’s one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?:
Allison is not only a great mom but she is a very generous volunteer whenever she can put her talent to good use!
