Branford Mom Has 'Touched So Many Lives Including Mine,' Daughter Says

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is special because she cares about everyone else before even thinking of herself. My mom is the sweetest person and one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. She never fails to make people smile, just by her smiling, I guarantee you’d smile back. Her beauty and positive vibrations radiate off her and she puts that out into the world. She is an RN & manager at YNNH and is not only an extraordinary mother but an amazing nurse. She has touched so many lives, including mine. My mother is special because she is a one-of-a-kind woman with the biggest heart. I love you, mom.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because she would never fail to give someone else the spotlight. She has always put my brother's and my needs before her own. I have looked up to her for as long as I can remember and she will always be in my spotlight. She will always be that light in my life on my darkest days. Knowing my mom is knowing an angel. She is a true, and pure soul.
