Branford Mom A 'Strong, Beautiful' Role Model To Her Kids

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your mom extra special?

My mom makes it all possible. She is not only my mom but my best friend. She is the biggest support to me and my sister. She has always guided us with love, she is our biggest cheerleader. She is an amazing grandmother to my two nephews. My mom goes above and beyond for us. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do to make sure we are happy, healthy and supported. We are so lucky to have such a strong, beautiful and caring role model. We love you!

Why do you feel your mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because she is the most giving person I know. She is our glue. She does it all for me, my sister, nephews, my grandmother and many others. Growing up I watched her care and help many others in need and show love and support to friends and extended family like they were her own children.
