In Branford, Now Most Have Power Restored, Though Not All
As of 5 p.m. Monday, 225+ Branford Eversource customers are still without electricity. It's been almost a week since the storm swooped in.

BRANFORD, CT — Thousands have had their power restored after being in the steamy dark for days and days. But for the 2 percent of Eversource customers who are still without electricity for closing in on a week, the misery continues. That's more than 225 homes or businesses.
In a statement Monday from First Selectman Jamie Cosgrove, it's noted that, "Restoration efforts continue to move forward, and we expect to see these numbers improve by this evening."
That said, if folks on your block or next door have power and you do not, report your outage again by calling Eversource at 1-800-286-2000.
