Branford Police Officer to Rescue - Fixes Broken Bike for Kid

Not every job a cop does it about giving out tickets are apprehending criminals; sometimes it is just helping out somebody in need.

BRANFORD, CT — One of the things that makes the town of Branford a great place to live is the relationship that develops between its police force and its residents.

That isn't always possible in big cities - another reason why small towns in the state of Connecticut - continue to be the most desirable places in the country to live, raise a family, work, etc.

"Yesterday, one of our residents had #BicycleTrouble. Officer (Richard) Kenney had a tool set handy and helped out with repairing the bicycle.

"Together, the issue was fixed and they got the bicycle back on the road."
