New Details In Serious Hit-And-Run Branford Bike-Truck Accident

Branford police have released a photo of a truck that struck and injured a female bike rider Sunday morning in Branford.

BRANFORD, CT -A photo of a truck involved in Sunday’s accident which badly hurt a 52-year-old women bicycle rider has been released.

The Branford Police Department in conjunction with the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit (SCCTU) continues to investigate a hit-and-run accident that occurred on November 4, 2018 at approximately 8:20 a.m., at the intersection of East Main Street (Route 1) and Featherbed Lane (see second photo for location).

A 52-year-old Branford women was riding her bicycle on East Main Street and was struck by a white Ford F-Series pick-up truck. The bicyclist is currently in serious but stable condition at a local hospital.

Branford police are asking the public for help in an attempt to locate a 2013 white Ford F250 Pick-Up, bearing CT 8334C2. The pickup truck has damage to the passenger side headlight assembly area.
