BRANFORD, CT —We all know student athletes who also bring their A-game to other parts of their lives.

Why do you believe the star student athlete should be recognized?

Cole Snider was told by doctors at a young age that he would never play sports . Cole was born blind in one eye due to an injury during birth. Cole has never let this hinder his ability to try anything and everything. He has instead used his disability to motivate himself, peers and others that have heard his story. Cole is the teammate and friend you want by your side during your ups and downs. He is genuine, kind and a great role model for young students. He is a great example that with hardworking, determination and support from family and friends you can overcome anything. And inspire other people around you doing it!!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the star student athlete?

Cole has proven all the doctors wrong and has inspired many doing it!
