Branford Super Mom Helps 'Make Life Wonderful' For Her Family

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom, Michele, is my hero. She's an independent single mom who taught me from a very young age that I can do anything I put my mind to. A strong woman doesn't need anybody to hold her hand. She is a typical Libra, balancing both work life and family life flawlessly. She has an amazing ability to connect with just about anybody and make them feel heard. She's a true fighter and never backs down from anything life challenges her with. I (Sara) her daughter, am a stay at home mom alongside my hardworking husband, Tim. My mother, Michele, does everything she can to help make life wonderful for our son, Deacon, in ways we simply cannot thank her enough for.

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

My mom deserves the spotlight because she has consistently and selflessly put others before herself. She has dedicated so much of herself to her family that I feel this would be the best way to thank her for that.
