The proposed spending plan keeps a 2.5 percent increase for the next fiscal year. Town taxpayers would face just shy of half of a mill increase from their current rate, going from 26.93 to 27.42 mills, or a 1.8 percent increase in taxes next year.
Now the proposed budget goes to Representative Town Meeting for review before a final town budget is approved in May.
