Education: Branford resident Paul Crisci is an honest, faith-based, family centric, business owner who was born and raised in Bronx, NY. Growing up in a diversified area of the Bronx during the 70s and 80s helped Paul Crisci become who he is today. With economic stagnation throughout the country, the Bronx fell on hard times in the 70s. Paul grew up in a predominately lower-income area with rising rates of crime. Nothing came easy to Paul. Growing up with a single mother, who worked two, sometimes three, jobs at a time, just to keep the lights on and food on the table, Paul learned from an early age the importance of work ethic. His humble beginnings did not deter him from being the best he could be. As a young man, Paul Crisci worked many jobs, including construction, electrician, refrigeration and air conditioning, and even tried his hand at sail–making in Port Jefferson, Long Island. After many jobs, Paul finally found something he loved, which was working in the automotive industry. As he worked his way through the ranks, Paul Crisci learned the value of business and all it had to offer. In the early 90s, Paul started a family and knew the best opportunity for a successful future was to buy his first home in the beautiful state of Connecticut. And 23 years ago, that’s exactly what Paul Crisci did. He moved his family to Monroe, Connecticut to give his three young daughters a better opportunity for education, a cleaner environment, and a beautiful home. As his daughters grew older, they became more involved in community activities. Although working 60+ hours a week in the automotive industry, Paul never missed his daughters’ activities, including youth sports. Shortly after the move to Connecticut, Paul became more involved in his daughters’ social development by becoming the head coach of his daughters’ Little League teams and eventually their travel softball program. Paul did not stop there. When he realized his daughters’ passion for the game, he continued by creating a local travel program that eventually grew to over a hundred players from the ages of 8 to 18 years old. Paul’s greatest passion outside his family is helping young people grow, not only in sports like softball but in the classroom and beyond by teaching the fundamentals of life through youth sports. Prior to retiring in 2020 from the organization he founded, Paul led the Connecticut Seahawks Girls Fastpitch Softball organization for 15+ years, helping young ladies pursue their dreams of attending college, receiving scholarships, and teaching hundreds of young girls softball fundamentals, as well as true life lessons on how to give back to their communities post high school and college. His mission statement to all the players was simply, “God, Family, School, and only then Softball.” He coined the phrase “Learn, Earn & Return” and Paul lives by that motto every day, which is why he believes now is his time to give back to the state and the community he loves so much by running for District 12 Senate. As for Paul Crisci’s professional life, he is a self-made businessman. After leaving the automotive industry back in 2005, Paul Crisci opened his own business consulting and marketing firm, Park Group Solutions. Over the past 17 years, Park Group Solutions has grown from a small 4-person, mom-and-pop operation, to a full-service marketing, consulting, advertising, and production company with employees in Connecticut, New York, Virginia, and Florida. Paul spends his days consulting businesses on finances, processes, people, and creating comprehensive marketing plans. Paul is a leader who works day-to-day alongside a team of people who develop plans for local industries, such as automotive, legal, municipalities, medical, education, real estate, and communication. Now, after many years of frustration with the political system and the politicians who run it, Paul believes his years of successfully consulting businesses can serve the people of District 12 by addressing the needs of all the people while holding Hartford fiscally and morally accountable, regardless of which party has the majority.
