Maintains the highways and roads, parks and recreation facilities for the Branford community.

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?
How often do we drive by someone working on a Branford road and think this person's job is important for the safety of our community? How often do we take our trash and debris to the Transfer Recycling Center and feel gratitude that we have a well run facility so we don't have to call a private hauler to take our large bulk trash away? How important is the beautification work that is being done on a regular basis to keep our parks, trails and trees in healthy condition so we can walk, run or ride our bikes at a time like now where we must maintain social distancing? The employees of the Branford Public Works department are an essential part of our community that keeps the outdoors of Branford healthy for us all. Lets give them a round of applause!
