New Trash, Recycling Carts Will Be Delivered To Branford Residents
Effective July 1, 2023, the Town will begin automated curbside collection of trash and recycling.

NEW TRASH AND RECYCLING CARTS WILL BE DELIVERED TO ALL ELIGIBLE RESIDENTIAL ADDRESSES BEGINNING JUNE 13, 2023.
Each eligible residence will receive two, free, specially designed 95-gallon carts - (1) for Trash and (1) for “no-sort” Recycling

{Eligible Residences are households currently receiving curbside collection of trash and recycling services provided by the town.}
If a 95-gallon cart is too big for your household, you can elect to receive a smaller 65-gallon cart in May, 2023.
To select a 65-gallon cart: Follow the instructions found on the mailer that will be sent to all eligible residences the first week of May, 2023.
REQUESTS FOR CART SIZE CHANGES MUST BE MADE BY 5/14/23.
**If you elect to receive a smaller cart you cannot later request a free larger cart**
The new carts cannot be placed at the curb for pick up before July 1, 2023 and MUST be used after July 1, 2023.
