BRANFORD, CT — A couple of hours before dawn Monday, three people broke into three different vehicles parked at the Branford Fire Department headquarters, officials said.

The trio spent nearly 10 minutes breaking and entering two personal vehicles and one town vehicle, causing "significant damage" including broken windows and paint damage, Branford Fire department Chief Tom Mahoney told Patch.

Mahoney said that surveillance video "shows them taking their time in a very well lit parking lot like they didn’t have a care in the world."
