Obituary: Kristi Alleshunas Jenkins, 50, of Branford

Kristi Alleshunas Jenkins 50, of Branford passed away on October 16, 2023 in Yale New Haven Hospital. Loving mother of Michael and Kristian Cohens and Jules Jenkins all of Hamden. Sister of Kimberly (Frank Amatruda) Alleshunas and Dana (Steve Sgambati) D’Errico all of Branford. She is also survived by her cats Bean and Blue, nieces, nephews and many friends that loved her. Kristi was born in New Haven on April 16, 1973 daughter of Margaurita Mongillo D’Errico of East Haven and the late John E. Alleshunas. Paternal granddaughter of Pearl “Pia” DePaola Alleshunas of Branford and the late Edward J. Alleshunas. Maternal granddaughter of the late Louis and Caroline Noebel Mongillo.

At the time of her death, Kristi was a grant manager for Yale New Haven Hospital.
