What is your occupation?
Executive Director of the Community Dining Room, 8 years, and owner of a small fitness studio business in Branford.
Do you have a family? If so, please tell us about them.
Two daughters, Isabella, 23, a paraprofessional in the Branford Public School System and Chelsea, 16, a high school junior.
Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No
Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?
Incumbent for the 1st District on the RTM in Branford, elected in 2021
Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?
I have always taken an active role in the Branford Community with the Youth (almost 20 years volunteering in youth sports) and have a vested interest for their success in all aspects - academically, recreationally, and socially. My hope is to help continue the commitment of excellence in the Branford Public School System.

Education does not come with one single issue. Constituents have a multitude of areas that they want to see a focus on, and my goal is to be here for all those concerns and help work through them.
If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?
Not challenging an incumbent
What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
My goal is to make sure parents and students have a voice and that it is heard. All parents, all students.
What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
Being actively involved in this great community in a multitude of ways. Currently sitting on the School Based Health Centers Advisory Board as well as the Health Department's Community Health Improvement and Planning Board are just some examples of where I have volunteered my time to help.
What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
