RE/MAX Alliance hosted a water station at the 34th Annual Branford Road Race on June 15. RE/MAX agents and employees handed out water cooling off the runners as they ran by the RE/MAX office on Pine Orchard Road just past the 4-mile mark of the 5-mile race. It was a fun and festive atmosphere with music blaring, volunteers cheering the runners on and the 26-foot RE/MAX balloon towering overhead. RE/MAX volunteers also helped out at the Registration tent.
“As Realtors, we believe that it is important to be involved in the communities we serve,” said Phil Carloni who coordinated the company’s participation in the event. “The Branford Road Race is a terrific event that benefits many worthy organizations and brings thousands of people together of all ages. Real estate is a community-oriented business and we are very proud to participate in this event and look forward to it for many years to come,” Carloni added. Over 3,000 people participated in the Road Road Race which included a 1-mile Kids’ Fun Run and a 2-mile Health Walk.
