Popular Restaurant Owners Opening New Eatery in Branford
The new restaurant, which will open in May, is located only about 100 yards away from the popular Stand restaurant location.
BRANFORD, CT - The owners of The Stand: Roadside BBQ & Market have announced they will soon be re-opening the recently closed E.McHenry's restaurant, which is located only a little ways down the road from The Stand.
On The Stand's Facebook page, is the following post: "Owners of The Stand, Greg Nobile and Eamon Roche, announce to the "stand" ing room only crowd - their plans to open another restaurant - 100 yards down the street.
"The Friki Tiki expects to open in May at the former E McHenry's" said the Facebook post. The Facebook posts describe the new restaurant as a 1970s-style Florida piano bar.

McHenry's, an Irish pub located next to one of Branford's best known restaurants, Lenny's Indian Head Inn, closed on February 18th.
