State DOT: Rt 146 Paving, Milling Begins July 7, Ends July 18, Weather Permitting
Project consists of milling, resurfacing 1.61-mile of Rt. 146 in Branford/Guilford from Leetes Island Rd to 0.03 miles east of town line.
BRANFORD, CT — Just a heads-up that the state Department of Transportation announced that it will be milling and resurfacing Route 146 from Leetes Island Road to the Branford-Guilford town line beginning July 7. The work will continue until July 18.
Milling will begin July 7 and last until July 11. Paving will begin July 13 and continue until July 18. Work hours are 7 p.m. until 5 a.m., Sunday night to Friday morning. Motorists should expect lane closures and delays.
