Stony Creek Farmers Market Celebrates 2nd Year, Sundays Through Nov. 2

Held at Bayview Park on Thimble Island Rd., Sundays from 10-2, features CT Grown farmers, local businesses, artisanal goods and live music.

BRANFORD, CT — The Stony Creek Farmers Market opened its second season on a clear-sky day with many in attendance.

Opening day had over 20 vendors, the market's "favorite" G-Monkey food truck, and local musicians, which complemented the lineup of farmers and small businesses, all CT Grown and made,

"The Stony Creek Farmers Market aims to create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for families and the community to come together," organizers noted. "We want to support local businesses and weave connections to be a resource for one another. We provide locally produced food and goods that are grown and created here in Connecticut."

This Sunday, May 25, expect fresh oysters and seafood, sourdough bread, pickled goods, cold brew and seasonal vegetables among myriad other offerings.
