Today In Branford: Project Graduation Fundraiser & Selectmen Meeting

Here's a quick post of what's happening in town today, October 2.

Today's Happenings

Support Branford High School's Project Graduation at a fundraiser tonight at Moe's Southwest Grill at the KOHL's plaza beginning at 5pm. All proceeds from the night's business will go directly to this activity which involves all BHS students.

Tonight at 6pm at the Blackstone Library is an event for anyone who has questions about their iPad or tablet - or - if they want to share their favorite app - or - learn the best ones to download. There will be iPads available to try out. Space is limited, so registration for this program is required.

The Board of Selectmen meet tonight at 6pm at the Fire Headquarters, 45 North Main Street.

The Open Space Authority committee meets tonight at 7:30pm at the Canoe Brook Senior Center, 11 Cherry Hill Road.

What's the Weather?

According to The National Weather Service, (which by the way due to the government shut down, the website is unavailable) the weather today in Branford should be sunny skies and warm!  It could reach 80 degrees. Not too shabby for October 2.
