Two Injured Sunday Night In East Haven When Tree Fell on Car
Two people were injured when a tree fell on their car in East Haven on Sunday night.
EAST HAVEN, CT — Two people were injured Sunday night in East Haven when a large tree fell across Route 80 near 580 Foxon Road landing on the roof of the vehicle (see picture).
While the two were taken to the hospital they were not seriously injured, police said. The two hurt were the driver and a passenger.
Traffic on the road was shut for several hours while crewes worked to remove the tree and repair the power lines.
