'Unforgettable' Branford Mom Always Makes Holidays 'Extra Special'

BRANFORD, CT— Moms do so much for everyone around them. We try to celebrate them all year long, but Mother's Day is a perfect opportunity to shout it from the rooftops and post it on Patch: Mom rocks!

Here at Patch we've launched an initiative to help recognize the awesome moms and mom figures in communities like yours.

What makes your Mom extra special?

My mom is a mom that always lets her two daughters and four grandchildren know she loves them and always checks in on all of us. My mom, every holiday, makes it extra special for all of us. She makes it so memorable since her two daughters were very little ... and she will always make them feel so special! She is a grandma that always wants to be involved in her grandkids' lives [and] to never miss a special moment in their lives. We love you, Mema. Happy Mother's Day as she would say, 'Kiss kiss hug beep beep.' 🙂

Why do you feel your Mom deserves the spotlight?

She is an unforgettable mom. She was my biggest provider [and] worked hard as we were growing up.
