United Way, Red Cross, Salvation Army To Help Remove Storm Debris
A volunteer army will help those who most need help having storm debris removed like the elderly, veterans and those struggling financially.

BRANFORD, CT — Help is on the way.
Branford is among the hardest-hit communities pummeled by a tornado-driven storm that plunged the community into darkness for days and ripped tress from their ancient roots and sent them flying and crashing all over town. It's been more than a week now and the town is still struggling to clean the disaster up.
According to a late-day news release, there's more help arriving to clear and haul the enormous amount of storm debris still left on curbs across town. Team Rubicon and other Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster including United Way 211, The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross have coordinate to bring "much needed assistance to those severely impacted by this event."
