$100,000 Winning CASH5 Lottery Ticket Sold In Bridgeport

A local resident is also the lucky winner, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $100,000 richer this week after claiming a winning CASH5 lottery ticket purchased locally, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Wednesday, the person claimed the winning ticket, which had been bought at Swissland Farms on Broadbridge Road.

The Connecticut Lottery no longer publishes winners’ names without their written consent, in accordance with Sec. 3(d) of Public Act 25-112, according to officials.

Cash5 is a pari-mutuel game, with wagers starting at $1 per ticket. The top prize is $100,000.

The overall odds of matching all five numbers to win the top prize are 1 in 324,632, according to lottery officials.
