$20,000 & $30,000 Winning Lottery Tickets Sold In Bridgeport

It's going to be a Happy New Year for the lucky winners.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Winning lottery tickets worth $20,000 and $30,000 were recently sold in Bridgeport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Dec. 20, an unnamed Bridgeport resident claimed a winning $30,000 Cashword ticket worth $30,000 ticket that was bought at Saba Petroleum on Noble Avenue.

And on Monday, Jorge M., of West Haven, claimed a winning 20X Cash 9th Edition ticket worth $20,000 that was purchased at Z Mart of Bridgeport on Madison Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The Cashword game, which costs $3 per ticket, began in June, and as of Tuesday, 17 grand prizes of $30,000 remained unclaimed.

As for the 20X Cash game, which costs $20 per ticket, it began in October 2023, and as of Tuesday, 53 grand prizes of $20,000 remained unclaimed.
