6 Arrested On Weapons Charges In Bridgeport: Police
Three of the suspects are adults, while the other three are juveniles, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — Three adults and three juveniles were arrested on weapons charges Thursday night following an investigative traffic stop on Bond Street in Bridgeport, according to police.
Members of the Bridgeport Police Task Force were in the midst of an ongoing investigation when they observed a Honda Accord with six occupants in the area of Boston Avenue and Bond Street.
"As Officers made contact with the occupants of the vehicle, firearms were observed inside the vehicle," wrote Shawnna White, Press Secretary for the City of Bridgeport, in a statement. "No person in the vehicle had a valid pistol permit to carry a firearm. Further search of the vehicle revealed quantities of Xanax pills and 200 grams of marijuana."

The two firearms seized were identified as an FN 509 9mm handgun with a 24 round magazine and laser attachment, and a 9mm "Ghost Gun."
Arrested were Wazin Ali, 20; Rafael Velez, 19; and Gianna Petree, 19. Information on the juveniles was not disclosed due to their ages.

The six were charged with multiple firearm offenses, including weapons in a motor vehicle; failure to obtain serial number (Ghost Gun); and high-capacity magazine.
