Bridgeport Resident Wins $50,000 With CT Scratch-Off Lottery Ticket

The lucky ticket was bought in Stratford, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — An unnamed Bridgeport resident is $50,000 richer this week after claiming a winning lottery ticket purchased in Stratford, the Connecticut Lottery announced.

On Friday, the person claimed a winning 5X The Money 18th Edition ticket that was bought at Nilkanth Stratford on Broadbridge Avenue.

The Connecticut Lottery publishes partial winner information as public record, according to officials.

The game, which costs $5 per ticket, began in June, and as of Monday, six grand prizes of $50,000 remained unclaimed.

More than 5.2 million game tickets have been printed, and the overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.63.
