Child Riding Bicycle Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Bridgeport: Police

The incident occurred Monday afternoon, according to authorities.

BRIDGEPORT, CT — A young boy suffered a possible broken arm Monday when he was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Broad Street and Linden Avenue in Bridgeport, according to police.

The incident occurred at about 2:30 p.m., and the driver of the vehicle "remained on scene and is cooperating with police," said Shawnna White, the city's Public Information Officer. The child was transported to Bridgeport Hospital for treatment.

Additional details were not immediately available, but no arrest has been made.
