Foo Fighters Cancel Show At Soundside Music Festival In Bridgeport
The band was scheduled to perform at the festival on Sunday; organizers have found a replacement.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Foo Fighters have pulled out of this weekend's Soundside Music Festival in Bridgeport, the band and organizers of the event announced on Thursday.
"Foo Fighters will no longer be appearing at this weekend's Soundside Music Festival," the band posted on its Facebook page. "Please check the festival website for more information."
No reason was given for the cancellation, but frontman Dave Grohl has been dealing with personal matters in recent weeks, after admitting that he fathered a child with a woman who is not his wife, Rolling Stone reported.

Foo Fighters were scheduled to perform on Sunday, but the festival has found replacements, rockers Jack White and Greta Van Fleet.
"We are excited to welcome both @officialjackwhite and @gretavanfleet to the lineup this Sunday, 9/29," festival organizers wrote on Facebook. "Unfortunately, @foofighters have announced they’re no longer performing this weekend."

Other artists scheduled to perform at the festival in Seaside Park include Noah Kahan, Norah Jones, Boyz II Men, Goo Goo Dolls, Lisa Loeb and Nine Stories and Fleet Foxes.
