Generous Spirit: Bridgeport Local Hero

BRIDGEPORT, CT — When times are tough, heroes emerge. We all know someone who's making a difference right now as we live through unprecedented and changing times.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize these heroes making a difference in their communities. Together with Ring, we’re working to let all your neighbors know about these outstanding people and their stories.

Relationship to nominee: Son-in-Law

Reason for recognition: Andrew Testo has utilized his gift of cooking and demonstrated his generous spirit by feeding thousands of individuals in need during COVID-19. His organization has also provided countless meals to local first responders/health care workers on front lines.

One thing to know: Andrew has consistently demonstrated his generosity and selflessness during times of need in the community.
