More Vehicles Vandalized In Bridgeport: Police
Bridgeport police are investigating a third occurrence of smashed windows.
BRIDGEPORT, CT — Bridgeport police are investigating on Thursday another occurrence of vehicle windows being smashed, the third such occurrence in as many days, according to authorities.
Police began receiving calls just after 6 a.m. on Thursday about smashed windows, concentrated to the 50 block of Middle Street.
"The Bridgeport Police Department is actively investigating the most recent acts of vandalism," Tiadora Josef, the city's director of Public Information, wrote in a statement. "It encourages all residents to remain vigilant by removing personal and/or expensive items from their vehicles to reduce the risk of vandalism and theft."

On Tuesday, several vehicles parked at the University of Bridgeport had windows smashed, and on Wednesday, several vehicles reportedly had windows smashed in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue.
